Today Professor David Lung invites Professor Wang Shu and Professor Richard Fernau to share their vernacular experience on architectural practice. Professor Wang is the Dean and Professor of Architecture School, China Academy of Arts, Hangzhou, China. In 2012, Wang became the first Chinese citizen to win the Pritzker Prize, the world’s top prize in architecture. Professor Fernau is a Professor Emeritus in the architecture department at the University of California, Berkeley.

Professor Lung’s upcoming MOOC – The Search for Vernacular Architecture of Asia, Part 2 will be launched on edX in summer 2016. Stay tuned with us.
