MOOC – “Law, Economy and Society” filming in the Run Run Shaw Heritage House
Today TELI continues filming Professor Richard Wong’s upcoming MOOC – “Law, Economy and Society” in the Run Run Shaw Heritage House.
Built in 1923-24, it was originally used as a Senior Staff Quarters for the site managers, who worked at the Elliot Pumping Station and Filters, Water Supplies Department. The building is two storeys high and has two four-roomed flats with adjoining servants’ quarters.
Its architectural features include multi-casement windows, rough-honed granite walls and French windows. The building is considered as an excellent example of colonial domestic architecture.
