Experiential learning series: ‘Learning by Doing’ Filming

 In TELI Diary

You might have heard of the education system in the West that provide an incredible breeding ground for cultivating open minded talents, or have learnt about the rare and innovative teaching style that nurtured talents like the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Tetsuko Kuroyanagi by reading her child book, ‘Totto-Chan: The Little Girl at the Window’. But do you know HKU is now partnering with the Hong Kong Jockey Club in the ‘Learning by Doing Academy’ project in promoting independent learning?

We had a sprinkle this morning, but it doesn’t reduce the passion of students from The Mission Covenant Church Holm Glad No. 2 Primary School and The University of Hong Kong to learn by doing. As part of the experiential learning project, our TeLi crew filmed primary students actively participating in activities designed by the HKU students.

Visit here to learn more about Learning by Doing Academy, and explore the benefits of Experiential Learning (EL).
