Helping Elderlies Make Deposit in Bankbook of Health

 In TELI Diary

Health problems like frail ( fatigue, resistance, aerobic, illness, and loss of weight) is a concern within Hong Kong’s ageing population. Aiming to improve elderly’s’ health condition, TeLi has been collaborating with the HKU Sau Po Centre on Ageing on a series of meaningful initiatives as funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.

Following the Joyage project, our crew once again get themselves involved in the Grand Move project. In the Wu Kai Sha Youth Village, around 400 participants exercise together in a scientific way as developed by gerontology expert from HKU. With the presence of Dr. Lam Ching-choi, Chairman of Elderly Commission of HKSAR, the project motivates elderlies to exercise regularly and continue to make deposit (exercise for health) in their own bankbook of health.
