Starting from 5,000 years ago, our ancestors have been observing patterns of the sky to understand and evaluate our place in the universe. Being the oldest science on earth, astronomy is an ever evolving subject that has contributed to the development of mankind’s rational thinking, philosophy, religion, and the society.

Making use of the latest technology including the 360 virtual reality headset, TeLi assisted the world-renowned astronomer, Prof. Sun Kwok from Faculty of Science to visualize astronomy in the upcoming MOOC: “Our Place in the Universe”. Being the man who dedicates his life to the stars, Prof. Kwok guides students to observe, stay aware of the environment, analyze and make relevant of complicated patterns in nature, as well as develop the ability to solve unknown problems.
